Age Appropriate For: All Ages
Best for Ages: All Ages

I am really into shorter books this year. I also am trying to read as many homeschool authored books as I can. I decided since Rebecca was going to be on the blog, to go ahead and buy her book to read. I am so glad I did.

Rebecca has a lot of talent. Her unique style and writing voice comes through clearly in these stories. I cannot wait to read something else by her.

This was not a long read (it took my two evenings to get through) but it is worthwhile. The stories were not only entertaining and well written, they were thought-provoking and conversation starters. Only That, was by far my favorite and the one that challenged me the most. I work every week at a food pantry and this was a powerful reminder of why.

The messages of these stories were wonderful and with deep roots in scripture. Rebecca is not afraid to tackle hard and scary questions. What happens when you die and why does God allow bad things are just two of the questions she addresses in the pages of this collection. She gives real and satisfying answers.

Those who are always trying to find stories without romance will be greatly encouraged. None of these stories have any romance in them. There are friendships and family relationships, but no romance.

I highly recommend this collection for a family read aloud, those looking for thought-provoking fiction, and for those who love a well told tale.

What I Liked
I really enjoyed reading this short story collection by Rebecca. When reading, I personally could feel her passion for writing. She would includes some vivid details which I very much appreciated! I enjoyed her unique writing style. She would write her story with a good moral, almost like a parable. I also appreciated the fact that she would include things here and there about the Lord. I normally read books from a girls perspective, but these stories took place mostly from a young boy. Thinking about that, I truly believe that Rebecca is blessed in that area. To be able to write skillfully from both male and female perspectives is a wonderful talent! This book teaches about grace, forgiveness, love, and all the Fruits of the Spirits (from the Bible). I am really eager to read more from Miss Rash!

What I Didn't Like
I really didn't want to include this section of my review, but to give an honest one, I have to. There wasn't much that I disliked!

I prefer to read stories from a girl's perspective. Though I prefer to, I enjoy reading and seeing artists stretch themselves by writing from a male's perspective. So it wasn't a big deal!
(The only other thing is that the book could've been longer. But that is because I enjoyed her writing so much. It isn't really a complaint!)

This book would be a great gift for most ages! Thank you, Rebecca for allowing me to do a review for your book! Blessings, everyone.

Love and Grace...
Olivia
Absolutely love this book! It pulled me in from the very first page and I highly recommend this as a Christmas gift for anyone who likes a good read.
This book of short stories by the young author was a delight to read!! She paints a wonderfully clear picture with her words and tells stories worth telling...of grace, forgiveness, faith, and compassion. The kind of stories that will make one take a good look at them self and want to be better somehow. Each story pulled me in from the beginning, and all of them equally enjoyable. I am looking forward to more from this talented author!

I will be purchasing more of this book from for gifting...a great book to pass on!
